Anna is a first-year master's student in the genetic counseling program at the University of Pennsylvania. She grew up in Massachusetts and graduated from Amherst College in 2022 with majors in biology and psychology. After graduating, she worked as a clinical research assistant at Boston Children’s Hospital. There, she coordinated genetic testing for undiagnosed families and enrolled patients with rare genetic conditions into research studies. Working with families affected by rare conditions sparked her interest in genetic counseling, and she is excited to intern with the CSNK2A1 Foundation this spring. She will be working on creating educational videos and handouts about the genetics of OCNDS and options for family planning. In her free time, Anna enjoys rock climbing, skiing, and going on walks with her dog, Velma.
We are focused on finding a cure for Okur-Chung Neurodevelopmental Syndrome and ensuring affected individuals have the opportunities and supports necessary for happy and full lives.
