Project: Develop a Disease Concept Model for OCNDS

Grace grew up in Wisconsin and earned her degree in Genetics and Genomics with a minor in Disability Rights and Services from the University of Wisconsin in 2024. She is now a first-year student pursuing a Master's degree in Genetic Counseling at Vanderbilt University. During her undergraduate years, Grace discovered her passion for disability advocacy through working as a respite care provider for children with disabilities. She is excited to continue working with and learning more from families and individuals affected by neurodevelopmental disorders. For the next two years, Grace will be collaborating with the CSKN2A1 Foundation and COMBINEDBrain to develop a disease concept model for OCNDS, aiming to highlight the lived experiences of affected individuals and their families. This research will inform clinical trial endpoints that prioritize patient and family needs. In her free time, Grace enjoys outdoor adventures, craft projects, and exploring the Nashville food scene.
