Project: Generating family-facing educational materials about genetics and outreach to genetic testing labs

Grace was our first genetic counseling student intern! She crafted educational resources for families on genetic sequencing and completed outreach to labs to ensure that the CSNK2A1 gene is represented on relevant panels testing for intellectual disability, autism, and epilepsy. Originally from Dallas, Texas, and with a BA in Biology from Wesleyan University, Grace brings a wealth of experience from her previous role as a scientific program analyst supporting genomics research.
